Refugee Students

There's a newspaper article about the refugee students in our city.

"The largest source is Myanmar (Burma), one of the poorest countries in the world, located between India, China and Thailand in Southeast Asia. Decades-long military rule took away freedoms of speech and religion and turned the once-progressive nation into a land of repression, poverty and chaos, according to the U.S. Department of State. Less than half of children in Myanmar complete primary school.

Bhutan, Iraq, Somalia, Cuba and Burundi are the other leading current sources of refugees in Rochester."
